The Weight that Memories Cannot Burden——An Analysis of The Rough of the North by Zhang Ailing from the Perspective of Freud's Psychoanalysis

张爱玲将小说《怨女》与精神分析理论相结合,以表现人物潜意识的内心世界。从张爱玲的个人与社会背景,金钱缺失酿就精神创伤,亲情、爱情缺乏导致性情扭曲三方面来分析精神分析学说对张爱玲及其《怨女》的影响。她笔下的人物角色不仅拓展了文学领域精神分析的界限,而且她在文学创作中完成了灌输艺术张力和自我解救的双重任务。

Zhang Ailing combines her novel The Rough of the North with psychoanalytic theory in orderto reflect the subconsciousness.This paper,from the following three aspects,elaborates the psychoanalytic influ?ence on Zhang Ailing’s novel The Rough of the North,namely,Zhang Ailing accepts personal and social back?ground of psychoanalysis. Shortage of money leads to mental trauma. Lack of affection and love distorts the tem?perament. Her portrayal of the characters not only expands the scope of psychoanalysis in literature, but alsocompletes the infusion of art tension and self-redemption in her literary creation.
