The Literature Review of Western Police Culture Research under Subculture Perspective

西方近三十年警察亚文化研究深受后现代主义的影响,研究热点主要集中在六个方面,即归罪文化,惩戒制度和游戏规则;实用主义和经验主义;权威主义和男权主义;共谋文化及团结,忠诚;自己人的观念;悲观主义和犬儒主义等。从趋势上看,西方警察文化研究日益细化,逐渐脱离了警察政治学和警察伦理学框架,倾向于纯社会学和人类文化学的研究。

Western research of police subculture has been influenced by postmodernism for nearly 30 years. Theauthor presents seven aspects of the police subculture in the paper, namely blame culture, disciplinary and game rules,pragmatism and experimentalism, authoritarianism and patriarchy, conspiracy culture and solidarity, loyalty, the idea ofone’s own, pessimism and cynicism. Western police culture research tends to be specific, gradually departing f o m policepolitics and ethics framework and falling into the sociology and ethnology.
