中泰两国电影命名特点的语音学分析

A Phonetically Comparative Study on the Naming of Chinese and Thai Film Titles

从语音学视角上看,中泰两国电影的命名特点体现在:中国电影偏爱四音节片名,泰国不同音节片名分布较均匀;双语片名是泰国电影中的一种特有现象;中国片名中的叠音词多为名词性成分,泰国片名中多为饰词性成分;借用成语和数字实现谐音双关是中国片名相较泰国的一大特色;泰语片名中音韵和谐的文字韵尾种类要多于中国片名。语音学视角下电影片名的互译,要求译者不可忽视其双语水平尤其是母语水平的培养,同时应加强普通语言学和对比语言学的理论素养的提升。

In terms of phonetics, huge differences could be found on characteristics of given names between Chinese and Thai film titles. For example, four syllables words are preferable in Chinese movie titles. The scales of Thai film titles with different amount of syllables keep relative balance. Most of the Reiterative locutions in Chinese film titles work as nominal omission, however almost most of reiterative locutions in Thai film titles are from adverbs and adjectives. Chinese film titles tend to use idioms and numbers for the sake of homophonic pun. syllables which are featured by the function of phonological harmony have more tail vowels in Thai film tiles than in Chinese ones. Translators are supposed to possess a good command of their mother tongue and the knowledge on general linguistics and contrastive linguistics.
