形势与政策课是高校思想政治教育一个关键环节,旨在帮助在校大学生把握好国际国内形势,了解当前国家的主要经济、政治、社会、文化、生态、军事、外交等方针政策。可以说,形势与政策课是大学生了解社会的一门必修课。为此,高校形势与政策课教师队伍必须站稳立场,明确责任,认真履职,厘清"是与非""远与近""点与面""主与次"以及"破与立"的关系,发挥形势与政策课在大学生思想政治教育正面导向功能,帮助大学生形成正确的世界观、人生观与价值观。

The situation and policy course is an important part in the ideological and political education in university, which can help students to grasp the international and domestic situations and understand the current economic, political, social, cultural,ecological, military, diplomatic policies and so on. It is said that the situation and policy education lessons are basic channel to understand society for college students. Therefore, to reach the goal of situation and policy education objectives, the teachers have to clarify those five relationships, namely 'yes and no', 'far and near', 'point and whole', 'main and sequence' and 'breaking and building' and help the university students practice the right world outlook, outlook on life and values.
