宋生贵教授以博览爱思写出学理畅达深湛的文章著作,同时又倾心汉字的点画、结构、章法之美,观察体悟、研究、临习汉字名迹,感受汉字书写中的情趣。他反对"玩"书法的态度,反对强作"创新",把汉字的书写当作杂技,五花八门的炫技表演、扮酷装靓。他怀着一颗对中国文字与书法的敬畏之心,淡定地平心静气地书写,追求自己的平和、雅致、情趣,享受书写中的快乐。

As a knowledgeable literati, Prof Song Shengui has achieved a lot on his scholarary papers, meanwhile calligraphy is his favorite. He observes and studies the masterpieces of Chinese calligraphy, tasting the beauty of them. Song never 'plays' brush work, and does not agree the so-called 'modern creation' in calligraphy. It is not suitable to make 'writing' as an 'acrobating' performance. Piously, Song writes in calm, approaching one's inner peace, elegance, and delightment; enjoying the lovely moment of writing.
