Standardization of Foreign Names in Sci-tech Journals

针对科技期刊中外国人名的格式规范化问题,总结国内外相关标准规范要求,从译文或原文的选用、参考文献中外国人名的格式以及正文中外国人名的格式几个方面调研国内期刊外国人名格式的规范化现状。提出建议认为,外文作者的姓名如有约定俗成的中文译名可以使用,否则建议使用外文原名;参考文献中,外文人名姓前名后,姓全部大写,名缩写并省略缩写点;正文中出现外文中译名,建议在姓名之间加间隔号;目次表中采用"姓前名后"的著录顺序,著录全部责任者。

Focusing on the standardization of foreign names in sci-tech journals,related standards and codes in China and other countries were summarized.In whether using the translation version or its original text,format of foreign name in references and format of foreign name in main body,the standardization of foreign names in Chinese sci-tech journals was investigated.Suggestions were made that,the accepted Chinese translation can be used if a foreign name has one,or the original text should be used;in reference,family name should be capitalized and placed in the front,while the first name should be abbreviated and the abbreviation point should be omitted;Chinese translation in the text should have an interval symbol;in the table of contents,the family name should be placed in front,and all authors should be written down.
