Power transformer is one of the key equipment of electricity transmission, once in the operation of the power transformer in fails,will seriously affect the safe and stable operation of power system. Common power transformer core earth fault, the author of this paper analyses the causes and diagnostic methods, and according to different fault features gives the corresponding solution measures and treatment method.
