In order to ensure the efficiently execution and the safety operation of the high-rating condenser in ultra high-voltage direct current project, and realize its reactive compensation func?tion in AC/DC hybrid power grid, implementation approach of the equipment selection, production and equipment supervision for high-rating condenser are studied in this article. The implementation of this project can provide effective protection for large generator phase of UHVDC transmission project quality control, to ensure the efficient operation of the project, the safe operation, which gives full play to its reactive power support in AC / DC hybrid power grid
