Air Fleet Distance and Bearing Measuring of Surveillance Radar Based on TACAN

本文讨论了在塔康地面设备基础上,增加数字测位9阵元圆环阵和相应接收电路,使塔康地面设备兼具监视雷达的功能;利用机载塔康接收机的空空测距工作方式,在塔康地面设备主基准脉冲群后空闲时刻和第一辅助基准脉冲后空闲时间发射并由原塔康圆柱阵天线辐射对空测距询问脉冲,同时实现了对机群的测距和测位功能。

This paper discusses when add digital bearing measuring 9 array elements and relative receiving circuits, the TACAN equipment also have the function of surveillance radar. The surveillance radar can realize the distance and bearing measuring when air fleet work on air-to-air operating channel. The uplink interrogation pulses of the surveillance radar will be transmitted in the short interval after the main and the first reference pulses sent from the TACAN equipment.
