Spatio-temporal Distribution of Aerosol Optical Depth over Guangdong Province Using MODIS Data and Its Influencing Factors

摘要 利用2001年、2007年和2013年MODIS气溶胶光学厚度(AOD)产品,结合DEM、NDVI、夜间灯光及《广东省统计年鉴》数据,分析了广东省AOD的时空特征及其影响因素。结果表明,广东省AOD呈现先升后降的趋势,2007年较2001年AOD年平均增加了14.97%,而2013年较2007年则下降了26.25%;月份分析结果显示,春季AOD最大,在3、4月达到顶峰;AOD与DEM、NDVI负相关,与夜间灯光正相关;人口集中的地区AOD较大,珠三角城市群呈现成片高值区,珠三角以外地区AOD高值区零星分布,表明人类活动对AOD具有显著的影响。 Combining with DEM, NDVI, night light and Statistical Yearbook in Guangdong Province data, the spatio-temporal characteristics of AOD over Guangdong Province and their influencing factors were analyzed by using remote sensing data in the year of 2001, 2007 and 2013 derived from MODIS AOD product. The results showed that AOD over Guangdong Province increased first and then decreased. Average AOD in 2007 over Guangdong Province increased 11.9% comparing with 2001, while average AOD in 2013 decreased 29.7% comparing with 2007. During the spring time, AOD reached the largest value in March or April, according to the monthly analysis. AOD was negatively correlated with DEM and NDVI, but it was positively correlated with the night light. There is a phenomenon that AOD is high in densely populated areas. For example, the high AOD areas are concentrated in groups over Pearl River Delta(PRD) urban agglomeration region, while the high AOD areas outside the PRD are scattered. It indicates that human activities have a significant impact on AOD.
