Objective:To explore the relationship between tumor associated macrophages(TAMs) and gastric cancer in the greater omentum milky spot.Methods:100 patients with gastric cancer were selected.100 patients with benign gastric disease were selected as the control group. We compared the expression of greater omentum milky spot CD68 +/CD206- and CD206 +macrophages of the two groups, and investigated the correlation between the greater omentum milky spot CD68 +/CD206- and CD206+ macrophages and the T stage. Results:In different groups, the expression of greater omentum milky spot CD68+/CD206- and CD206 + macrophages were different(P<0.05).The correlation between the greater omentum milky spot CD68 +/CD206- and CD206+ macrophages and the T stage was -0.759(P<0.05),0.693(P<0.05).Conclusion:The high expression of TAMs CD206+andlow expression of CD68+/CD206- in the greater omentum milky spot were closely related with tumor stage.
