Innovation is the soul of progress,and critical thinking is the basis for it.This paper has discussed the definition of critical thinking and its significance,During the process of university teaching,on the basis of interests stimulated by the teacher and the problem guiding mode,the teacher guides the students to do critical thinking,and cultivates their critical thinking ability.
