在高职院校开展瑜伽课程的意义与实施分析

随着物质水平的不断提高,人们在物质丰足之余开始重视身体的健康,国家也提出了全民运动的口号。由此可以看出,体育运动在我国社会生活中所处的地位越来越重要,这也对我国高职院校的体育教学提出了更高的要求和目标,使得传统的体育教学已经不再适应于当前政治经济发展的要求,必须进行改革。在新课标改革和素质教育改革的大背景下,高职院校也逐渐开始了体育教学的改革,逐渐在传统的教学科目中增加一些使学生更具选择性的科目,例如健美操、网球、以及最受人们关注的运动——瑜伽。由于瑜伽项目对人们修身、养性等具有很大的好处,而且能使学生具有一个强健的体魄,还能锻炼他们的心性,培养其综合素质,实现学生们身心健康的全面发展,由此受到人们的热烈追捧。而在高职院校开办瑜伽这一体育课程,也正是新课标改革下教育教学逐渐实现以人为本的具体表现,因此如何做好高职院校瑜伽课程的开办工作,成了学校当前改革工作的重点。

With the rising of living standard,people have paid more attention on health instead of merely on materials.Nationwide fitness campaign has been launched for years,which shows an increasing importance of sports in people's social life. Under such circumstance,higher requirements and objectives have been requested for physical education inhigher vocational colleges. Traditional education has no longer fitted for the current political and economic situation.Reforms in these colleges have been made so as to provide more options for students among the traditional courses.These options included aerobics,tennis,and yoga which has especially caused people's attention. Yoga,pursued by manypeople,benefits students both physically and psychologically. It also helps to cultivate students' comprehensive qualities.So adding yoga to the existing physical education in higher vocational colleges caters to the educational reform guided by the new curriculum standards,which is taken as a people-oriented program. Therefore,how to carry out yoga course in an appropriate way has become an important task for these colleges.
