The modes of moral education nowadays can borrow a lot from Confucian culture,under the currentsituation of the serious moral crisis resulted from economic impact in the market.From a social perspective,theConfucian moral education features the collective advocacy of both the state and the local clans.In terms of thecontent of education,moral education is the foundation and bedrock of Confucian education.In terms of teachingmaterials,Confucianism focuses on the teaching of Confucian classics.From the perspective of the subject ofeducation,Confucianism puts emphasis on the exemplary effects of teacher’s words and deeds,individualizedteaching and student introspection.Nowadays,it is a good way to combine the modes of Confucian moral educationwith the characteristic of the times,since there are a lot for us to use from Confucian moral education.
