The paper introduces the technical characteristics and process flow of Jigang Slab Caster 6.In order to ensure the smooth start-up and high efficient operation of slab caster, dynamic soft reduction technology and dynamic secondary cooling water distribution model were improved. Production practice showed the main equipment ran well; slab central segregation and slab internal quality were improved. The smooth production of the caster was ensured and product quality lifted.
