Six Topics on Chaoshan Culture——From the Perspective of Culturology

人们在观察自己家乡时,往往会带上感情色彩。因此,每当论及这些乡土、乡音与乡情时,必须不时跳出"此山",以局外人的身份,兼及体认、表彰与反省,才可能有深入的"观察与思考"。该文以一个生于潮汕而长年在外的人文学者的视角,从文化学的角度,对家乡潮汕地区在粤东政经、岭东文化、韩江流域、闽南方言、潮人社团以及"大潮汕"的视野六个方面重新进行了审视与思考,从而对潮汕地区的发展提出了一些个人的见解。

One is filled with emotions when observing his hometown. Therefore, in refering to the homeland, native accent and nostalgia, only when we get out of “this mountain” and comprehensively think about the identification,praise,and introspection can we observe and ponder deeply. From the perspective of culturology, this article reviews and reflects the six aspects of political economy in East Guangdong, culture in the East Ridge, Hanjiang River Basin, Minnan dialect, Chaozhouese community and pan-Chaoshan horizon, and puts forward the personal views on the development of Chaoshan area.
