A new generation of technology develops at an exponential rate and permeates all aspects of social and economic activity. In China, financial intermediation mainly relies on the traditional financial institutions, and the capital market management system acquired from the west is not mature yet. What kind of understanding and attitudes should policymakers have when the juvenile financial system is facing fast-growing emerging technologies? This paper analyzes the impact of technology innovation on finance development and finance intelligence by reviewing history, analyzing present and looking to the future, advocates embracing the interaction and integration of emerging technology and finance industry with the spirit of change, tolerance and calm.
