Morji Hu has been fond of music, devoted to music and composed music since his adolescence,achieving a series of brilliant accomplishments. His new book, the legend of Hujia: Discussion on the Story of Xiongnu, can awaken one’s imagination and enlighten one’s thought. The history in music and the music in history constitute the two highlights of this book culturally and academically. The author reveals to us that Mongolian music actually makes up another way of recording history--- It’s essentially the poetry history in music form, that is, the history of spirit. This book is a spiritual narration about an old Mongolian musician and a music cultural historian.
