The body layout drawing is mostly used by the engineer for analyzing and evaluating the vehicle and theergonomic layout,and it is included by the exterior and interior projection of the car,the dummy location and posture and theergonomic analyze of the car.This paper details the essential elements of the point cloud,the processing method ofImageware and CATIA,the processing of the total arrangement from the point to the body layout drawing.During the process,the hard points need to be decided through ergonomic analyzing.The logic relationship between outputs and inputs of layoutpackage requirement must be cleared to distinguish the different tasks in Imageware and CATIA,promote the tasks and theefficiency of the process,make sure the reference standard of measurements to get the right way of dealing,classify themeasurement by the logic relationship for the convenience of later look up and use.
