南京图书馆所藏清抄本《紫阳大指》是一个孤本,撰者秦云爽是清初浙籍理学家。在理学兴盛而学者好辨朱陆(王)异同的当时,秦氏采取了摒弃门户之见的调停立场,因以招致陆陇其、应撝谦等宗朱学者的驳难,成为清初理学史上不宜漠视的个案。

The transcript of Ziyangdazhi collected by the Nanjing Library is a unique copy.Its author,Qin Yunshuang,is an idealist born in Zhejiang in the early Qing Dynasty.While the neo-confucianism prevailed and scholars were fondof distinguishing between differences and similarities of Zhu Xi's and Lu Jiuyuan's theories,Qin adopted a standpoint ofmediation which dismissed sectarianism.As a result,he was retorted and blamed by scholars who highly respected ZhuXi such as Lu Longqi and Ying Huiqian,and this became a case that cannot be ignored in the neo-confucianism historyof the early Qing Dynasty.
