This paper introduces the basic concept and main features of BIM(Building Information Model)andits applications.On this basis,it discusses the application of BIM technology in railway construction design,construction and management.Meanwhile,through specific examples,it briefly describes the ideas and steps of how to use BIM software for architectural design to set up modeling,providing reference to the railway construction engineering and technical personnel in the future projects.
