Objective To explore the clinical effect of chronic urticaria treated with cetirizine and autologous blood acupoint-injection. Methods A total of 80 chronic urticaria patients were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received western medicine cetirizine syrup for treatment, and the observation group received cetirizine syrup combined with autologous blood acupoint-injection fo treatment. Clinical curative effect was compared in two groups. Results After treatment, both groups had improved pruritus, wheal quantity and wheal size score, but the observation group had better decline range than the control group, and the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). The observation group had obviously lower recurrence rate as 2.5% after treatment than 22.5% in the control group after treatment, and the difference had statistical significance (P<0.05). The observation group had a little higher total effective rate as 92.5% than 87.5% in the control group, but the difference had no statistical significance (P>0.05). Conclusion Combination of cetirizine and autologous blood acupoint-injection in treating chronic urticaria, can effectively improve the clinical symptoms of patients, increase their quality of life, decrease urticaria recurrence rate with affirmative curative effect and high security, and it is worth clinical promotion and application.
