谢灵运是中国文学史上承前启后的人物。他既是玄言诗的终结者,又是山水诗的开创者,由于特殊的时代背景和身世遭际等因素的影响,形成了其多元的思想:清谈尚玄、含儒蕴佛,这些思想又在游山玩水的过程中通过山水诗公之于众,最终展现其主情尚真的内心情感体验,这是山水审美意识的升华与超越。
