摘要
Tongue squamous cell carcinoma (ToSCC) is the most common type of head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and is the sixth leading cause of cancer deaths worldwide[1]. In clinical oncology, radiation therapy is a standard treatment used for tumors. Numerous studies have shown that conventional radiotherapy used in cancer treatment may increase the risk of metastasis of malignant tumor cells[2–4]. To improve patient survival, the potential for metastasis of tumors in response to radiation needs to be addressed.
