4-21 Numerical Simulation of Intense Heavy Ion-target Interaction

摘要 High power laser facility has been widely used for the high energy density physics (HEDP) research for years. Recently, the development of intense heavy ion beam accelerators opened a new way for heavy ion-driven HEDP research. Due to the special energy deposition mechanism of heavy ion beams, large volume of uniform high energy density matter could be obtained for fundamental physical research such as equation of state study.
