A new satellite – that will help humanity to unravel the mysteries of the “Dark Matter” – was launched on Thursday Dec. 7. 2015 by China. The launch of the DAMPE satellite took place at 00:12 UTC at the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center. The new satellite will run in a sun-synchronous orbit with an altitude of 500 km and an inclination of 97.4? with 3 a lifetime.
