Where Do You Feel Uncomfortable?——Lost in the Eight Dimensional Space of Lin Ran

在当代艺术中,表现孤独是极为常见的一个主题。当代艺术家林苒透过"孤独——寻觅——融入人群"的思维模式,在慌乱的外在世界,表达潜在的心灵危机,并运用镜头来表现孤独的价值。林苒撷取生命的原型,把生命底层纷乱与扭曲的特质透过时间、空间的流动表现出来,重视潜在的异形,从而体验到了生存的意志。

In contemporary art, the expression of loneliness is a common topic. Lin Ran, a contemporary artist, expresses, through the thought pattern of “loneliness, seeking, and integrating into the crowd”, potential spiritual crisis in the confused external world, and shows the value of loneliness by using camera lens. Lin Ran tries to select the archetype of life and express the chaotic and twisted nature of life through the flow of time and space. She puts emphasis on potential abnormity and thus has experienced the will to survive.
