Construction and Boundaries of Art Management:The First Visual Art Management Teaching Seminar 2015

中国的艺术管理在当代艺术中发挥着重要作用的同时,又因其发展历程至今仅有十余年,难免存在着诸多不足和发展不均衡。2015首届视觉艺术管理教学研讨会就是针对以上问题及如何完善中国的艺术管理体系作了深刻探讨,并以"建构与标准"为主题来探索对艺术管理的概念及其构成的新思路和研究方法,在强调艺术管理作为高等艺术院校专业设置之紧迫性的同时,也凸显了社会对于艺术管理人才的迫切需求,因而具有重要的学术价值和现实意义。

Art management plays an important part in contemporary art in China, and meanwhile, there exists insufficiency and unbalanced development in it as it has been only over a decade since its initiation. The First Visual Art Management Teaching Seminar 2015 was targeted at a profound discussion about the aforesaid issues and how to improve the system of art management in China. It also tried to explore the concept of art management as well as new thoughts about its components and research techniques with “construction and standard” as the theme. While stressing on the urgency of setting art management as a major of art institutes of higher learning, the seminar revealed the pressing demands of the society for art management talents, and thus it has important academic value and practical significance.
