摘要
人的肉体和灵魂同为一体,人的理智、情感、价值感这些我们通常认为的灵魂的重要组成部分,只能是人这一精神性的有机体、有灵性的肉体的局部功能。情感、理智、价值感等既独具功能,又互相依存,互相关联,但又必须依托和维护作为一体的"人的肉体和灵魂"的生命有机体,灵魂的组成部分才具有存在的前提和理由。知识学习所致力发展的理智,是灵魂的重要组成部分之一,但不是唯一。教育要着眼于让理智与"肉体和灵魂"一体的生命整体达成一种平衡,理智与情感、情感与价值感等灵魂诸要素运作达成平衡。这样,知识也就发挥了护佑灵魂的积极功用。
Human’s body and soul are a unity,and human’s rationality,emotion and value,which are the main components of the soul in our views,are just the partial functions of humans.The three components have their own functions,while they are interconnected with and dependent on each other.However,the preconditions and reasons for the existence of souls are that the three components must rely on and maintain the unity of life organism of human’s body and soul.The development of rationality which knowledge acquisition focuses on is one of the important components of souls,but not the only component.Thus,education should strike a balance between rationality and the unity of body and soul,and also keep a balance between rationalityand emotion,emotion and values,so that knowledge can perform the function of blessing and protecting souls.
