摘要
从小说因果思想的审美内涵和叙事结构模式两方面对《太平广记》"报应"类展开主题学视角下的探讨。"报应"类因果思想的审美内涵体现在故事文本中主要有两点:一是故事传达的大众化因果观念;二是因果主题体现的作者个人情感心理和引发读者美感兴趣的艺术特质。"报应"类叙事结构主要有两种:入冥结构和某人被杀而变鬼复仇的结构。"报应"类还未形成完全成熟的因果叙事结构,大部分小说事件的因果关联需要通过联想来进一步完成,但也有少量篇目在"传奇性"中较好地融入了因果思维。"报应"类因果叙事的结构模式为后世提供了小说文本艺术思维的组合经验。其类目的设置已初具小说主题学意识。
This paper discusses Extensive Records of the Taiping Era from the cause-effect thought's aesthetic connotations and narrative structure in novel writing. Aesthetic connotation of 'retributive' cause-effect thought embodied in stories consists of two aspects:the popular cause-effect concept the stories convey;the writer's personal emotion and psychology that the causal theme reflects and the artistic attribute that evokes readers' esthetic interest. The 'retributive' type of narrative structure consists of mainly two kinds:the-world-of-the-death structure and the structure that follows the pattern where someone is murdered,becomes ghost,and take his revenge. ' Retributive ' writing has not yet formed a mature causal narrative structure;most causal connections of events in fictions need to be further completed through association except a few stories that have 'legendarily' integrated the causal thinking. The 'retributive' causal-effect narrative structure provides a experience of the artistic thinking for later generations in novel writing. The establishment of the ' retributive ' category begins to have the thematic consciousness for novel writing.
