With the increased needs for medical care，shortcomings and defects are revealed in China's medical security system，such as the insufficient coverage of serious illnesses and the low level of patient protection. This article analyze the current situation and problems of China's medical security system and expounds on the essential nature，operating mechanism，and main features of the medical treatment crowd funding which arose with the sharing economy. As a new model of social mutual aid，crowd-funding is an innovative application of sharing economy in the field of social charity，having significant importance for the development of China's charity cause and the realization of social fairness and jus?tice.
