本文从文学史的视角对美国表演诗歌及其美学特征进行梳理。本文认为,美国现代表演诗歌源自19世纪诗歌朗诵之风,20世纪的表演诗歌经历了从集体方言到个体方言的转变,并促成了诗歌文本结构与形态的改变。

This paper offers a historical exploration into the American Performance Poetry and its aesthetic features.It is believed the that American performance poetry is originated in the tradition of poetry elocution in the19th century and went through a transformation in its framework from collective dialect-based performance to personal dialectbased performance,which has in general contributed to the change of the texture and the mode of poetic text.
