摘要
随着我国高等教育改革重心的调整,大量高等院校开始向应用型大学转型,本文通过问卷调查的方式对保定学院这所应用型本科大学非英语专业大一、大二的学生进行了ESP课程的需求研究。研究结果表明,目前传统的EGP英语课程已经不能满足学生们的需求,此类学校应大力发展与专业相关度更高的ESP课程,为了应对这一改革,学校应支持教师再次学习,鼓励教师出外进修,以达到ESP课程的需求。
With the reformation of higher education in China,a lot of universities began to transform to the applied universities.By the questionnaire survey to the non English major freshmen and sophomore students in Baoding University-one of the applied university.The author tries to analyze the students'need of ESP course.The results of the survey shows that the traditional English curriculum-EGP cann't meet the needs of the students,the university should explore to apply ESP course which is more professional and more relevant to the occupation and the job market.In order to cope with the reformation,the university should support the teachers to relearn and encourage teachers to take course and to fulfill the ESP course requirements.
