English euphemism involves a wide range of fields,such as social professional fields.The research on English occupational euphemism can reflect the degree of social civilization,help us understand the West better and improve our competence of intercultural communication.This paper places six principles“Politeness Principle”as the breakthrough point,attempting to analyze how to apply the politeness principle to English occupational euphemism and to better achieve the communicative purpose and effect for us.
