理工科院校研究生英语教学模式探索——来自CDIO教育理念的启示

A Study of Postgraduate English Teaching Based on CDIO Education Mode

在我国大多数理工科院校中,研究生的英语教学忽视学生语言实践运用能力的培养,无法适应国际化大背景下经济社会发展对学生的要求,迫切需要改革调整。CDIO教育模式作为一种指导工程教育人才培养模式改革的教育观念和方法论体系,以及一种课程设计的框架体系,符合现代工程技术人才培养的一般规律,为解决该问题提供了新的思路。论述河北工程大学结合CDIO教育理念及其实际情况,以项目设计为主线,以提高研究生英语综合运用能力为目标的研究生英语教学改革方面的新尝试,以及在研究生英语专业培养、教学大纲、课程设置及教学手段等方面做出统一部署和精英英语项目(CDIO-EP),力求探索一条适合工科院校的研究生英语教学新模式。

At present,postgraduate English teaching in many engineering universities,paying less attention topractical application,failing to meet the social and economic demands,needs reform and readjustment.The educationmode of CDIO,provides a new solution to the problem.The paper introduces the postgraduate English teachingreform in Hebei University of Engineering,which,in combination of CDIO education mode and project design,aimsto improve students’comprehensive competence in English.The reform also includes the CDIO-EP program andseries of new arrangements concerning professional cultivation,teaching program,the curriculum setting and teachingmethods.The reform is to search for a new English teaching mode suitable for engineering universities.
