With the poor qualities of raw materials of delayed coking unit are obvious,the salt content in feedstock is increasingly high,which has caused the salt out at the upper trays and top circulation of fractionating tower,and affects the safe operation of the unit.This paper provides insight into the causes and harm of salt on circulation system and offers solutions of which it focuses on the application of new desalination technology,which ensure the long period operation of the unit.
