摘要
17世纪入华的意大利籍耶稣会士利类思(Ludovico Buglio,1606-1682)将托马斯·阿奎那(Thomas Aquinas,约1225-1274)的《神学大全》首次译介为中文,题为《超性学要》。该著作对诸多西方哲学术语如何精准地译为中文进行了有益摸索,甚至成为中国近现代诸多哲学概念的源头所在。但可惜的是,国内外学术界对该书却关注不多,亦没有从译介学角度对其进行过分析。事实上,从译介学的角度勾勒《超性学要》的基本概况,探究利类思的翻译策略,可以看出明清之际西方内核文化的东传尝试。
Summa Theologica(Chaoxingxue Yao)is not just the magnum opus of Ludovico Buglio(1601-1682),an Italian Jesuit who came to China in the17th century,but also one of the important works in the history of Sino-Western crosscultural communication,not only for its first systematic introduction of scholasticism to China,but for its useful exploration how many terminologies in Western philosophy could be translated into Chinese accurately.Even the terminologies in Western philosophy in this work could be regarded as the source of many philosophical concepts in the modern time of China,which,yet unfortunately,has been paid little attention to and analyzed from the perspective of medio-translatology by the academia in China and aboard.With the deepening of Sino-Western cross-cultural communication,it is necessary to study the translation strategy of Ludovico Buglio in this work and outline the overview of the translation and introduction in Summa Theologica,in order to enrich the history of Chinese translation further.
