Objective To explore the effects of progressive muscle relaxation training on depression, anxiety and quality of life of patients with breast cancer during perioperative period. Methods The100breastcancer patients in our hospital from January2014to December2015were randomly divided into observationgroup and control group, and each group has50cases.Patients in the control group were given routine nursing, while the observation group was given1month of progressive muscle relaxation training on the basis of the controlgroup. The degree of depression, anxiety and quality of life were compared between the two groups.ResultsQuality of life scale, self rating depression scale and self rating anxiety scale were used to assess the quality oflife of the two groups at the time of admission and at the end of the1month.There was no significant differencebetween the two groups of the three indicators(P>0.05).After1month,the three indicators of the patients inthe two groups have a certain degree of improvement, but patients in the observation group of three scores improvedsignificantly, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with breastcancer, given progressive muscle relaxation training in perioperative period can effectively alleviate depression, psychological anxiety, improve the quality of life of patients, which is worthy of clinical application.
