As knowledge carriers embodying teaching content and methods,textbooks are particularly important for university teaching.The advancement of textbooks may improve teaching quality.According to experiences of the textbook writing for signal detection and estimation,this paper expounds thoughts on the cultivation of ability,the textbook structure system,experimental teaching,teaching materials and so on,hoped that these thoughts may provide many references to textbook construction,teaching reformand the advancement of teaching quality.
