摘要
吴苏荣贵是一位蒙古族画家,他的绘画创作大体上分为两个阶段:第一阶段为大学毕业至2001年赴日本留学之前,创作以表现内蒙古的草原生活为主,这些作品在看似对草原生活客观、真实的描绘中,透出一种精神性的追求;第二阶段为赴日本留学及回国至今,在这一阶段,他一方面将东方佛教艺术与西方基督教艺术进行比较研究,创造了内容独特、表现形式新颖的新图式,另一方面,将佛教教义、现实世界和他的艺术想象相融合,创造了既有深厚文化传统,又大胆创新的新的"宗教绘画"。本文对吴苏荣贵的艺术历程和绘画创作进行了回顾和评述,以期从文化和审美的层面对其艺术进行总结。
Usuronggui is a painter of the Mongolian nationality,and his painting creation can be roughly divided into two stages.In the first stage,dating from his graduation from university to2011,when he began to study in Japan,he gave priority to grassland life in Inner Mongolia in his artistic creation.In his works,a kind of spiritual pursuit can be sensed in the apparently objective and truthful depiction of grassland life.In the second stage,dating from his study in Japan and returning to China up to now,he created a new pattern with unique content and novel form of expression after making a comparative study of Eastern Buddhist art and Western Christian art on the one hand,and by combining the Buddhist doctrine,the real world and his artistic imagination,he created a new kind of“religious painting”,embodying both profound cultural tradition and bold innovation on the other.Some reviews of and comments on Usuruoggui’s art experience and painting creation are given in this paper in an attempt to summarize his art from the cultural and aesthetic perspectives.
