水墨语境 意在当下——当代城市水墨语义浅析

Depiction of the Present in Ink and Wash:A Brief Analysis of the Semantics of Contemporary Urban Ink Painting

艺术作为人类精神的一种记录,随着时代发展自然地发生着内涵与形式的变更。"城市水墨"以表达当代文化生活与精神观念为己任,以水墨阐述当代人情感与经验的表达,使水墨这种独特的传统艺术语言获得了新的生命力。20世纪80年代中后期,以城市为题材的水墨画在从传统形态向现代形态转化过程中不断呈现城市的精神图像;进入90年代,中国城镇化的速度不断加快,城市人口不断膨胀,城市生活带给人们的压力与契机、繁华与落寞,以及人们内心的漂泊感,不断在绘画中被艺术家提炼、升华。所有这些成为城市水墨的艺术特征:以传统水墨的一种当代表现方式,融入了时代特性和崭新的观念,呈现出对文化环境转变的深刻思考。

As a kind of record of human spirit,art naturally changes its connotation and form with the development of the times.Taking the expression of contemporary cultural life and spiritual concept as its own duty,“Urban Ink Painting”tries to express the emotion and experience of the contemporary people,giving new vitality to the unique traditional art language of ink.In the middle and late1980s,images reflecting urban spirit emerged constantly in ink painting with city life as its themes in the process of its transformation from traditional to modern type.In the1990s,with the speeding up of urbanization and constant expansion of urban population in China,the pressure and opportunities,prosperity and loneliness,as well as the sense of drift brought about by urban life are constantly refined and sublimated by artists in their paintings.All these have become the artistic features of urban ink painting:in the contemporary form of traditional ink painting,and with the characteristics of the times and brand-new ideas incorporated in it,it has expressed a profound reflection on the transformation of cultural environment.
