美国心理学家滕格将出生于20世纪70、80和90年代的三代美国年轻人统称为"我一代",因为他们以自我为中心,藐视权威,展现出前所未有的自信与决断,可是也缺乏责任感,前所未有的不快乐。在全球一体化浪潮下,改革开放后出生的中国青少年要如何面对"我一代"身上所具有的互相矛盾的群体特征,对其个人生活和社会发展将带来巨大挑战。

The three generations of young Americans born in the last century 70, 80 and 90 who are collectively referred to as 'Generation Me', because they are self-centered, contempt for authority, showing unprecedented confidence and determination with a sense of unhappiness and being lack of responsibility. The generations who were born and raised after the reform inevitably in China will join this social 'Generation Me' and the conflicting groups of features on their personal and social development will pose a huge challenge.
