Dark tea is one of the six major teas with unique quality characteristics,and there is a close relationship between qualityformation and blending in the tea.This paper discusses the quality of dark tea,the classification of dark tea quality,the purpose andmethods of dark tea blending;and recommends the blending requirements of main dark tea products in Hunan,in order to provide referencefor dark tea product development and blending technology improvement.
