The Influence of English Films and TV Dramas on University Students' English Learning and English Teaching:A Case Study on the Undergraduates of China Agricultural University

近年来,大量欧美影视剧在媒体上的播放令在校大学生喜闻乐见。赏析英语剧集和英语学习及英语教学之间的关系成为必要的课题。本课题以中国农业大学在校本科生为调查对象,采用问卷调查法,切实研究英语影视剧对本科生英语学习动力、听说读写、跨文化等方面的影响并就如何应用到日常英语教学中提出建议。

In recent years,European and American films and TVdramas are favored by university students.The relationship betweenappreciation of English films and TV dramas and Englishlearning and teaching has become a necessary subject.Takingthe undergraduates of China Agricultural University as the surveyobject,and using the questionnaire survey method,this paperstudies the influence of English films and TV dramas on undergraduates'English learning motivation,listening,speaking,readingand writing,and cross-cultural communication,and alsomakes recommendations on how to apply English films and TVdramas to routine English teaching.
