Ethnic Fusion and Social Integration: A Social Study of Immigration into Wuling Mountainous Areas in Qing Dynasty

武陵山区作为少数民族地区,历来倍受民族学研究者关注。武陵山区的汉族移民群体、旧籍居民群体、旧籍居民与移民的融合、武陵山区的社会整合是武陵少数民族地区研究的重要组成部分。文章从族群融合与社会整合角度,分析武陵山区旧籍居民、清代武陵山区移民社会形成、武陵山区"方言岛"、旧籍居民与移民土地占有与分解、围绕土地资源占有发生的纠纷等问题。

As places of ethnic minorities,Wuling Mountainous Areas always attract attention of ethnologists.The Han Chinese immigrants,the native inhabitants,the fusion of these two groups,and the social integration,all are important components of the study of Wuling ethnic minorities areas.From perspectives of ethnic fusion and social integration,this paper investigates the native inhabitants of Wuling Mountainous Areas,the formation of immigrant societies in these areas in Qing Dynasty,Dialect Islands in these areas,land ownership and division,and disputes on land resources.
