“一带一路”背景下来华留学临床医学专业全英文授课项目的挑战

Challenge of International Medical Education in English under the “Belt and Road” Initiative

近年来,在"一带一路"战略背景下,临床医学专业的留学生占来华留学学历留学生总人数的25.38%,在校生人数超过5万人。本文将以天津医科大学的留学生教育为例,介绍我国来华留学临床医学专业全英文授课项目从招生、教学管理以及取得的成果。从学位认证、招生方式、英语水平、医学预科教育、质量控制、品牌课程、优势学科互补、国际竞争等方面,提出未来来华留学临床医学专业全英文授课项目发展面临的挑战和解决方法,供来华留学的教育管理部门和其他院校参考。

Recently,under the“Belt and Road”initiative,international medical students accounted25.38%of the total number of international students studying in China,the scale is more than50000.This article will take Tianjin Medical University as an example to introduce international medical education in English program in China,including international students’enrollment,educational management and achievement.Make useful suggestions for government and colleges in following areas:degree reorganization,student recruitment,language evaluation,premedicine program,quality control,brand courses,complementary advantage subject and international competition.
