With the development and progress of the society,people face more and more challenges on the application and requirements of college and university libraries,and talent is the foundation for the realization of library functions.This paper deeply analyzed the present situation of current college and university library talents,understood their basic situation,further explored the causes of talent shortage,and put forward the path and methods of library talents cultivation,so as to achieve the goal of improving college and university librarytalent quality.
