A Study on the Application of the Google Translator and the Translation Memory Bank in Translation Practice

以翻译一份商务类文本为实例,在借助Google翻译的基础上,利用CAT(computer-aided translation)工具Trados 2014翻译记忆软件的Winalign功能创建翻译记忆库。并利用该记忆库对原文本进行预翻译,然后在Trados编辑器中对预翻译后的译文单元进行编辑并修订。

Taking the E-C translation of a commercial text for example,based on the Google Translator,by means ofthe Winalign function of a CAT tool called Trados2014,this paper introduces the establishment of the translationmemory bank.In addition,it introduces the pre-translation of the text based on the translation memory bank as wellas the compiling and revision of the translated text in the Trados editor.
