Blueberry,as a new fruit tree specie,has high economic value and broad prospect for development.There are sixmajor production areas in the world at present,among which,North America,Europe and Japan are the largest consumerand trade markets of blueberry fruit.In emerging regions,such as Asia Pacific,the market has huge potential for increasingacreage and production.China's blueberry industry has a unique development advantage,the cultivation area ranks thefourth in the world,and it has formed a pattern of industrialization with Chinese characteristics.This paper discussed thedevelopment prospect of blueberry industry in China from several aspects,for example,the value of blueberry,theinfluence of China's blueberry industry on the development of the worlds,the advantages of blueberry industry in ourconutry,the key technologies of blueberry production,ect.
