明清时期张掖关公信仰研究——以地方志为中心的考察

A Study of Guanyu Faith in Zhangye in the Ming and Qing Dynasties——An Investigation Bas Based on Local Chroniclesed

关公信仰是我国民间信仰的重要组成部分,张掖关公信仰分布广泛。通过对明清时期张掖地方志进行研究,调查相关碑刻,张掖关公信仰繁盛,是当地人好武尚忠的表现;另一方面体现了民众在恶劣生活条件下的心理诉求。政府对祭祀关公的重视程度有增无减,且关公职能广泛也是重要的一个方面。在探讨民间信仰的同时,我们也发现张掖关公信仰有着连结官方和民众的纽带作用。

Guanyu faith is an important part of folk faith in China.In Zhangye the faith exists universallysince Ming and Qing Dynasties.According to the research of Zhangye Local Chronicles and the investigation ofinscriptions related to it from then on,the study makes an analysis about the reasons of how the faith came intobeing.There are some reasons as follows.First of all,it reflects that the local people worshiped bravery and valued loyalty.Then,it expressed the masses’psychological wishes under the bad living conditions.Next,the sacrifice offerings from the authorities have been increasingly organized from Ming and Qing Dynasties.Finally,thefunction of Guanyu faith is used widely in the folk.Last but not the least,it is worthwhile to point out in the research that Guanyu faith also plays an important role in connection between the authorities and the masses as acommunicative bridge.
